The ocean doesn't hurry. It carves its own path, one wash at a time.

Every WAVES piece starts the way the tide does — restless, layered, never quite the same twice. The fade on these cargos isn't sprayed on. It's built through hand-guided distressing and multi-stage indigo washing, taking the denim through cycles that pull colour out unevenly on purpose. Each pair goes through its own wash run, so the whiplash of light and dark blue across the leg happens differently every time. Cut with a closer taper through the hip and thigh, the silhouette carries the weight of the fabric like a wave carries its own current — close where it needs to hold, loose where it needs to move.

Built into both legs, just above the knee, is a full-width zip — pull it and the cargo drops into a pair of shorts in seconds. One pant, two silhouettes, no compromise on either.

This is where denim washing meets ocean study. No two pairs carry the exact same fade pattern, because no two washes pull the same way twice. What you're wearing isn't a print — it's a small, deliberate record of water and time.

HOW TO STYLE

Let the fade lead. Wear it full-length with a fitted rib tank and low sneakers for an easy drop, or zip off at the knee for a shorts fit when the weather turns — same wash, same pockets, different silhouette. Roll the hem once at full length to let the ankle taper show.

THE FINE PRINT

Because the wash is hand-guided, slight variation in fade placement and colour depth is normal — that's the mark of a real wash, not a flaw. The zip joint is reinforced for repeated use; avoid ironing directly over it. Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle to protect the fade and prevent excess colour bleed.
