Some walls remember the sun better than the sky does.

Every SUNRAYS piece begins on a wall, not a page. Along the Konkan coast, artisans etch a single reddish-brown pigment  drawn straight from laterite soil  into a surface of white lime plaster, scoring lines that hold their colour for generations without a second shade ever entering the frame. This tee carries that same restraint. The sunburst on the chest is hand-painted, not printed, built in that same terracotta pigment against a stark base, so every ray keeps the slightly uneven edge of a hand that worked it rather than traced it.

Monochrome by design, not by limitation  the entire discipline lives in what a single colour can do against plaster, wood, or in this case, heavyweight cotton. What you're wearing is that same economy of means: one pigment, one motif, carried with total confidence.

This is where an ancient mural technique meets an oversized silhouette built for right now. No two hand-painted rays fall exactly the same, because no two hands hold the brush the same way twice.

How To Style

Let the oversized cut lead. Pair with light denim and canvas sneakers for daytime ease, or tuck loosely into wide trousers for something warmer-weather and considered. One motif, kept clean — let it hold the look on its own.

The Fine Print

Because the motif is hand-painted, slight variation in stroke and placement between pieces is normal — that's the mark of handwork, not a flaw. Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle to protect the paint. No bleach. Tumble dry low, or better, air dry. Wash less, wear more.
